With roots planted firmly in tradition, Crazy Mule also branches out to many other influences and play everything with excitement and energy. The Mule got it's start after winning a SW Missouri regional band contest and landing a recording contract with and independent record label. Shortly after, the band was able to buy ou their label and are now self produced under their own "Crazy Farm Records". Crazy Mule has performed at many venues from Silver Dollar City (several times), to sould out concerts and private bookings, and numerous festivals across the midwest.
This humor driven band has also served as comic relief for Miss Missouri pageants and has even had the pleasure of performing with Jerry Mathers of "Leave It To Beaver" at a SW Missouri awards show. Crazy Mule consists of five talented musicians with rich backgrounds and impressive credentials spanning every angle of the music industry, as well as theatrical and cultural archives.
The band is also steeped in gospel music and performs at revivals and churches as often as possible with their yo-yo and bluegrass ministry "Strings of Faith". What has become expected of a Crazy Mule show is an atmosphere of laugh 'til it hurts, explosive energy bluegrass with a a spash of dazzling yo-yo tricks that will leave the entire audience in a state of pure enjoyment.
