Boyd Stogdill
(Banjo)

An Ozark legend as authentic as the hills themselves. He is pronounced in Ozark Moutain humor and culture, and serves as the "grin 'til yer face hurts" element of the group.
A wide list of credentials range from opening for the Platters on their Alask'n tour, taking 2nd place at the American Heritage Music Contest in Grove, Oklahoma for the advanced banjo division, and teach some of the best banjo players SW Missouri has to offer.
Boyd learned to play sitting on Albert E. Brumley's porch with "the man" himself, and made his first recording at age 16 with the Arkansas State Fiddle Champion.
Boyd is currently the banjo teacher for Janet Davis Music Company in NW Arkansas.
